Thoughts of Indigo

About Me

Hello World,

Welcome to my little sliver of the internet! This website is devoted to the many eccentricities of my thoughts and creativity. If you have stumbled here you might wanna know a bit about who I am and what you can expect to read about!

Who am I? I am from Alabama, the rural part near the bank head national forest. I was raised on a small family farm. I got my Masters Degree from Georgia Tech in Mechanical Engineering. I have lived in about the southeast for my whole life and currently, I am living in Atlanta GA. My husband (for the purposes of this blog will be known as J) and partner in some of the adventures you will see on this site is also an engineer. I am childless by choice and I love getting to be an Aunt to my little niblings. [ 1 ].

What will you find here? Stories about the good food I get to eat. Stories about travel to lands near and far! A lot of national park talk and some of my own musings about the world. You will find a love for nature and recognition that we need to do our best to preserve the world we live in for future generations.

Why am I writing a blog now? Well it is 2025 and most of my friends have fled instagram, facebook and the cesspool that is twitter. However, I selfishly want to still be able to share some of the beauty I find in the world without subjecting them to the mass machine that is social media. You can expect way to many photos accompanied by far to many spelling an grammar issues. I promise my spelling mistakes are something of a legend where I work. If you wanna tell me about the spelling errors, give me feedback on how to make my css website better, or any other such feel free to message me at .

Lastly you might be asking yourself what do you mean by Thoughts of Indigo? Well I can't quite tell you but I can try to explain some...

- You know when the moon is waning to the dark hour and the stars are so bright you mistake them for diamonds. The color of the sky has seemingly hung onto the most brilliant depth of color that resonates with your soul.In that moment you are finally free to think of all the thoughts you have held in check while the world races on around you.

- The thoughts of deep longing where the seeds of dreams are planted

- The thoughts of sorrow where the solitude lets your heart be free

- The thoughts that are made of nothing but hope clinging to life like the shooting stars we wish upon.

- The thoughts that can only come to life when surrounded by friends that have become family in the glow of candle light.

Those are what I would call thoughts of indigo. Also it is a shameless throw back to my first ever blog spot ages ago titled under the same name.

[1] A nibling is a gender-neutral term for a sibling's child, such as a niece or nephew .It was coined in the early 1950s by linguist Samuel Martin.
