The Aviary!
The Aviary is a renowned cocktail bar in Chicago that has been on J's list of "want to visits". Our good Chicago friends made us reservations and we went to enjoy a five course meal called "The Aviary Experience"!
Some background info about the Aviary. It was founded by Chef Grant Achatz, in 2011 the opening was an attempt to "reinvent" the cocktail lounge for modernist cocktails that were both "visually striking" and "flavorfully complex". It became a leader in cocktails and has consistently stayed on the best bars in the world list since its opening.
It was a blast to go and see the creative ice working and other magic that went into making the delicious cocktails.
